Seattle Day 4

For the last three days of our trip, I decided to combine them into one since Friday we didn’t do much besides go to a business Costco (which is awesome by the way) and eat. Then Sunday is when we drove home.

So yeah Friday we decided to make it a pretty relaxed day and tried to get Chandler to take a nap in his pack n’ play since he hadn’t really had a regular nap since we got there. After that Trevis had wanted to go to business Costco because we don’t have one here in Utah. It’s actually a pretty awesome place, it just has a lot of bigger items that a regular Costco doesn’t have. Stuff like giant deep fryers and huge printers and my personal favorite (though I don’t really understand why they have it) Torani flavor syrups. I had been looking around for a while to find some of these that we’re sugar free or that didn’t cost $15. They were only $3.99! Have you ever walked out of Costco having only spent $3.99?! I haven’t, and probably never will again. Sometime after Costco, I think later that evening.. I honestly can’t remember which is why I should write blog posts earlier than 3 months after they happen. Oops! Anyway, after Costco we went to get Dim Sum. If you haven’t ever had Dim Sum, you need to have it. I had never had it before and now it’s all I want in life.. Okay, maybe that was a little dramatic but seriously, I haven’t stopped thinking about it since then. It’s kind of hard to explain exactly what they are but hey guess what, I have pictures!

The restaurant was inside a mall so after that, we just shopped around for bit then headed home to watch a movie.

So the next day was our last day, and we were determined to make it a good one, it was also the only day that we witnessed true Seattle weather, I mean we were actually wearing jackets at one point!

img_7681

img_7683
he loved that cat, the feelings weren’t really mutual.

img_7685

img_0553

We had decided we were going to spend most of the day in downtown Seattle since when we had gone before, we hadn’t stayed for too long since Chandler was grumpy. When we got to Pike’s Market Place it was almost time for lunch so we took care of that first. It was our last day there, so we went all out with our lunch choice and picked a fancy restaurant with an awesome view of the ocean. I wasn’t super hungry so I just had some soup, but Preston was determined to have crab while we were in Seattle and he finally made that happen.

After that Chandler of course started to have a little bit of a meltdown, so Baylee and I took him outside while we waited for the boys to pay.

img_0612
how beautiful is that?!?!

img_0613

img_0615

img_0626

We strolled around Pike’s Market Place and got some more donuts, went to a few shops and then I of course made us all go take more pictures down by the gum wall. Now that I’ve taken my photography class and I know how to use my camera a little better, these pictures kill me. The coloring turned out so weird, so I tried my best to fix them on my computer but now I know how to fix the color on my camera and it’s too late!

Baylee and I had been super determined to go find Meredith Grey’s house from Grey’s Anatomy. Our husbands were kind enough to oblige. Plus down the street from the house was this small park that over looks the city and it. was. GORGEOUS. The whole neighborhood there was beautiful. I wanted to live there, and one day when I’m rich maybe I will.

BEAUTIFUL!

img_0756

img_0765

img_0776

Since it was our last meal here we went out with Baylee’s family. I don’t remember if I mentioned this already, but it’s totally worth mentioning again. Baylee’s family is awesome!! I’m not even saying this just because they were nice enough to let us stay at their house, they were seriously amazing. And the way they act to each other is amazing. Her siblings are are the cutest, her mom is the sweetest and her dad was so nice and even paid for our dinner that last night! Seriously. They’re amazing, I loved them all!

Anyway, we headed to met Baylee’s family at the restaurant. At this point, Chandler was on his last straw (that’s such a weird saying). When we sat down he started freaking out, so we pulled out the tablet to watch a movie on and he was calm for like 5 minutes. So I took him outside to run around on the dock while we waited for our food. Our food came and he was entertained for about another 5 minutes before he had another meltdown. I really don’t know what happened in Seattle, but ever since then we can’t take him out to eat without suffering a major meltdown. After we finished dinner, we took Chandler outside where they had a little sandbox for kids to play in. It was probably Chandler’s favorite part of the day!

img_7718

img_7720
look at that cute little bum!

img_7722

img_7723

img_7726

Then we headed home and went to bed since we had to get up early. The only pictures I took on our way home were of trees while we were driving. I really miss all those trees they were so beautiful, which is basically the description I’ve used for everything on this trip, but I can’t help it, it’s true! My dream has always been to live in London, but if that doesn’t happen, I could definitely be happy in Seattle it was everything I always dreamed it would be and I hope we get to go back again very soon!

Cornbelly’s

Zac’s girlfriend had texted me last week asking if we wanted to join the at Cornbelly’s on Saturday. I had wanted to take Chandler there this year, but just wasn’t sure when we could make it, but this worked perfectly for us so last Saturday we went to Cornbelly’s!

As I’ve said before, I love the fall and cooler weather so that’s what I was hoping for when we went but of course that wasn’t the case. It was actually pretty warm, though when you stood in the shade it wasn’t too bad. My mom just bought this new lens for her camera called a prime lens, and so I stole it from her so that I could give it a try to see if I wanted to buy one for myself, which I most definitely do!

When we got there, we went to go find a place to park, which was no easy task. We ended up parking somewhere that I don’t think actually was a parking spot, butttt what do ya do? We saw Zac drive in as we were getting out of our car so he came and parked near us, then we headed in.

img_2032

We had bought our tickets online using a discount code Brenna’s sister gave us, so we were able to get in super fast and easy. It was awesome!

img_2059

img_2062

We met up with Brenna’s sister at a giant slide. So Chandler loves slides, but he’s also terrified to go down big ones by himself and we were only able to get him to enjoy going down if someone held him. He did go down a couple times by himself but just ended up crying.

img_2085

After that we found a more Chandler-sized slide that he could go on by himself. Though he did need some help getting onto the bales of hay to go down the slides, they were pretty tall.

If you ever go to Cornbelly’s you need to try the blue raspberry lemonade, it is sooo good! We got some of that and some food then sat down to eat because we were starving!

img_2131

img_2136

img_2139

Two things I feel like I should mention. First, normally Chandler takes his nap at about 11, which we had gone to Cornbelly’s at 12. We had tried to get Chandler to nap around 10, but he wasn’t having it. Second, Chandler is pretty scared when it comes to mascots and other things like that (which is why I’m super excited for Disneyland next year and for him to meet Mickey, since he loves Mickey but hates big costumes like that). They had a mascot parade there at Cornbelly’s and a trick or treat with them to following the parade. Chandler watched them from far away during the parade, then we lined up to go trick or treating.

img_2149

img_2156
you actually can’t super tell in this, but he was definitely crying from exhaustion at this point

img_2157

img_2163

So he actually did super well with Cosmo, which is awesome. Until I tried to have him get closer so I could take a picture of him with Cosmo, then he started to have a meltdown, so Preston went in the picture with him. Chandler still wasn’t too happy though. He at least didn’t cry through out the rest of trick or treating, but only because I was right next to him holding his had the whole time. Which is why I don’t have any pictures of the rest of the characters. Towards the end, we even almost got him to hug one of the minions. He started walking up to it with his arms out, but then it put it’s arms out and Chandler just turned right back around. Haha. He did give, I think it was Spiderman, a high five. And didn’t scream when he saw Batman. So overall it was a big improvement. Haha.

After trick or treating we hit up the big corn pit. Which was probably Chandler’s favorite part of the whole trip. He was kind of on his last straw since it was about 4 or 5 hours past his nap time, but he perked right back up once he went into the corn pit!

After that we took one final picture then decided to head home so Chandler could take a nap.

Chandler was seriously sooo tired! The first picture was right when we put him in the car. The second one was right after we got out of the parking lot. Haha. We also obviously didn’t bother to clean his face after lunch.. oops.

October Pictures!

I have one more blog post left of Seattle (yay!) but while I’m working on that, I thought I’d share some of these pictures. I’ve been taking a photography class and this past Saturday we had a photo shoot. I had Chandler and Preston come so that I would have someone to take pictures of, and though Chandler is definitely not the easiest person to take pictures of, I was still able to get some good ones. I am by no means a real photographer but I’ve really enjoyed taking this class and am hoping with more practice and some more classes (and possibly a new lens or two ;)) that maybe one day I can be a real photographer!

Seattle Day 3

On Thursday we decided to go out for breakfast at this cute little place that I all of a sudden cannot remember the name of. Regardless the food was delicious and Chandler continued the hate all things that had to do with restaurants. 😉

img_0440

After breakfast we stayed home for the morning/early afternoon so that Chandler could try and take a normal nap. It didn’t work out super well, but at least he slept better than he probably would have if we’d been out and about!

One of the things that we had wanted to do while we were in Seattle was take a ferry ride. So we decided to do that in the afternoon before we headed to the Seahawks v. Cowboys game that night. When we got there, we had barely missed the last ferry unfortunately. So we had to wait around for the next boat. I had never really realized how ferries worked, so basically you pay to get on and then the direct you towards a row of cars and you just park and wait for the ferry to be ready, then they guide you on one row at a time. It doesn’t sound that cool when I explain it, but it is! 🙂

img_7598
All the cars lined up

img_8049

Chandler loved being on the ferry, he was a little hesitant at first since he didn’t really know what was going, but after not too long he was loving it! He kept running back and forth between the inside of the ferry with all the seats and the outside deck. Luckily it wasn’t too full so he wasn’t bothering too many people. There was a really cute old couple that was sitting just inside the ferry that kept laughing and smiling at Chandler.

For the life of me I cannot remember the name of the island that we went to. It was just a cute little town though. Really the only purpose of the whole trip was to ride the ferry, so we didn’t really have any ideas of what to do once we got to the island. We settled for a late lunch at a local restaurant called The Grub Hub.

img_0490

Then we headed back to wait in line for the ferry. It was all a little rushed since we wanted to leave in time to get to the football game.

So the whole point of this Seattle trip (at least for the boys) was to go to the Seahawks/Cowboys game. We decided that it wouldn’t be a very toddler friendly event to take Chandler to and Baylee’s sister was nice enough to watch him for us. Like I said before, we had been kind of hurrying things with the ferry so that we had plenty of time to get to the game. It’s a good thing we had done that because even with us leaving early, the traffic was horrible and we barely got there before the game started. As I’m sure you know, I’ve never been to an NFL game even a preseason one. It was an interesting experience to say the least, especially when you’re not cheering for the home team haha. My favorite part was when the Cowboys got an interception so I was cheering with Preston because why not and the guy sitting next to me, who was of course a Seahawks fan, turned to me and said “don’t get too excited there’s a flag” and I looked at him and said “eh that’s ok, I don’t actually care”. He seemed pretty disappointed that I wasn’t going to argue with him haha. It was still a really fun experience (even though we only got to see Romo play for like 30 seconds) and I told Preston that now we need to go to a game in Dallas so that we can be with all the Cowboys fans. I’m pretty sure he’s going to take me up on that offer. 😉

Seattle Day 2

We decided to hit up downtown Seattle on our first official day there, but on the way there we figured we’d stop by the Fremont Troll.

img_0204

Not pictured is Chandler, who was asleep in the car while Trevis just drove in circles to keep him asleep. 😉

We had reservations to eat lunch at Sky City which is the restaurant at the top of the Space Needle. So we headed there next!

The ride up was so cool! I wish I could have gotten some better pictures, but we were so stuffed in there that I could barely move and this was the only picture I really got in there. One day when I’m rich, I’m totally going to have a glass elevator in my mansion. 😉

For dessert was all shared the Lunar Orbiter dessert. It was basically just ice cream that surround with dry ice. It was good, but the best part was definitely the presentation. Chandler was a little scared of the dry ice at first which was hilarious, but then he was loving it! After lunch we hit the observation deck!

Chandler loved the observation deck, and looking out at all the landscape. He also really loved trying to run around the whole deck which some people weren’t too happy about. Preston kept almost giving me a heart attack by setting Chandler on the bar and having him look between the wires, but Chandler loved it! I’m surprised we didn’t lose his hat, I finally took it off because I was scared it would fall and hit someone.

Next up was Pike’s Market Place!

img_0332

We took Chandler in his carrier because we didn’t want to have to deal with a stroller in there, he wasn’t too big a fan of it.

Although my standard for not having very many pictures to post is probably a lot higher than everyone else. Haha. Also our gum we had was awful and we could not blow bubbles for the life of us!

Afterwards we headed back home and made the decision that the next day we would stay home until after Chandler had his nap. Though the pictures may not show it, he was kind of crazy that day since he only had one 30 minute nap. We spent the rest of the night just watching tv!

Girl in the Mountains

While I continue sorting through my hundreds of photos from Seattle, I thought I’d share some pictures that I didn’t have to edit or anything. My friend Pari is an awesome photographer and hairstylist and makeup artist and all sorts of things. She had found this old wedding dress at a vintage store and asked me if I wanted to play dress up for her! I of course said HECK YES! Haha. We took these up Provo canyon, the leaves are starting to change there (not where we were) and it was sooo beautiful. Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year so I’m so excited for it to come, Friday is only suppose to be 52 degrees!! Hallelujah!!

Seattle Day 1

So since I took over 800 pictures on our trip to Seattle, I decided to break my Seattle post up by days. That way it won’t be so insanely overwhelming!

Our first day wasn’t super exciting, I mean all we did was drive there. I was kind of nervous about how Chandler would do since he hadn’t taken a road trip this long since he was about 7 months old and he hadn’t needed to be entertained so much. He did pretty well though, there were moments when he had mini meltdowns, but I just put a movie on the tablet and he was good!

Our first stop of the trip, some random gas station in Idaho. Exciting I know. So I’m sure I’ve been to Idaho at some point in my life, but I can’t remember when or where or anything about it. So it felt like going there for the first time! One thing we did learn however, is that if you’re in Boise, near Boise State and really want to drive through Chick-Fil-A.. you’re going to waste about 2o minutes trying to get to where Google maps is trying to tell you to go, only to find after driving around Boise State for a while, that Chick-Fil-A is inside the school. 😦 But it’s okay, Taco Bell is just as good as Chick-Fil-A right?? (The correct answer is no, it’s not)

img_9953

img_9954

img_9957

img_9960

We were trying to decide if we wanted to go the shorter way and go the whole way through Idaho or go an extra hour and a half out of the way to head through Oregon, and I have to say I am insanely glad we went the Oregon route. Oregon is so beautiful with all the trees and greenery. I could not get over the fact that we weren’t up in the mountains or something. Here’s a few pictures from a pit stop we made to take a restroom break!

Trevis went on his mission to Washington, but it included a bit of Oregon in it (or maybe it was the other way around, I can’t be sure) so he told us about this waterfall that was just a short distance off of the highway so we decided to stop there. It was beautiful! I could probably go on and on about the prettiness that is Oregon, but I’ll just show you some pictures instead!

Then we of course had to stop in Portland, because how could you not?? I always get so excited about going to these big cities, and then I get there and remember how gross and kind of sketchy they are.. But Portland is still awesome, just like all the big cities once you get past all of that stuff!

image-15

Everyone was pretty much starving so we set off to find somewhere to eat. We found this place called Killer Burger and it was amazing! They had some pretty funky burgers (Preston got the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon burger which was surprisingly good!) but everything we got was super good! Chandler ate about half of my burger which was surprising since he usually will only eat a couple of bites of meat. Then he discovered fries and ketchup, and spent the rest of the meal dipping his fries in the ketchup and sucking it off. It was pretty hilarious.

We couldn’t go to Portland without hitting up Voodoo Doughnuts! It was a pretty small store so Preston decided to stay outside with Chandler and the stroller while we all went in. Staycation! Part 2

Like I said on my previous post, Saturday was Lagoon day. I had looked ahead to check what, if anything, Chandler would be able to do there. They had a toddler area, and you could buy individual tickets for rides while you were there. That way we wouldn’t have to pay for a whole pass for Chandler, when he would probably only go on a few rides.

We had wanted to be there right when the park opened, so we headed up around 9 AM.

IMG_9669
these pictures are from before we left. while we were waiting on everything to be ready!

When we got there, we headed towards where everyone was waiting to get on the Cannibal, Lagoon’s newest ride. When the park finally opened, we hurried and got in line. Since Chandler obviously couldn’t go, my dad said he would stay with him while the rest of us went on the ride. Now I’m not sure if you’ve seen what Cannibal looks like, but let me insert a stolen-from-google image here, for your viewing pleasure.

Scary right? So I was already a little scared about this to start off with. Now I don’t want to spoil too much for those of you haven’t ridden it yet but.. little known (or very much so known) fact about me is this, I am terrified of stuffed animals. I’m not talking little kid toy stuffed animals, I mean giant taxidermy deer, elk, buffalo ect heads/bodies. Like really, I have literal nightmares about them. Don’t ask me what it is about them, but I just cannot handle it. So anyway, like I said I don’t want to give too much away but just imagine almost complete darkness, with the only light, highlighting stuffed animals and other random objects. TERRIFYING. I immediately shut my ideas and didn’t open them again until I knew without a doubt that we were outside. When we went on the ride again later that day, I made sure to shut my eyes ahead of time, and didn’t open them until Kayla told me I was in the clear (though I didn’t believe her at first, because that’s totally something she would do. give me the all clear and then scare me to death). It really is a cool ride, taxidermy aside. After that ride, we hit the Samurai. This time my dad, Zac and Dusty all decided to sit it out. They were too scared of getting sick. After that, the Rocket. It was so fun to watch Chandler watching all the rides. He just stared and stared and found it all so entertaining.

Chandler was kind of scared of this giant stuffed tiger.. not gonna lie, i was a little too.

After those few rides, we decided to try one that Chandler could ride on. We headed for Flying Aces (I had to google the name of the ride because I had no idea what it was called). They’re basically these flying boats that you can control the direction you can go using the “sail”.  I think at first Chandler was just confused about what was going on and why he was getting seat belted into this giant metal thing with dad, then the ride started, confusion quickly turned into terror. And crying. In hindsight, that probably wasn’t the best ride to start Chandler off on. Both Preston and I felt pretty sick afterwards. Which is weird since I usually love that ride and have never gotten sick on it. It might have had something to do staring backwards the whole time, trying to take pictures.

we gave him some applesauce in case his stomach wasn’t feeling well either. he was so excited he squeezed it right up his nose haha

While my parents, Hannah, Zac, Dusty and Preston all decided to take the Sky Ride (basically ski lifts, minus the skis) across the park, Kayla and I took Chandler to check out the toddler area. After Chandler’s not-so-great experience with his last ride, I wasn’t so sure how he would feel about going on any other rides. We checked out the rides and decided that the only ones he would really like would be the ones he had to go on by himself, I didn’t think he would like that. After everyone met back up, we went on the train ride. It goes past a bunch of cool animals and around a pond in the park.

Then we had lunch while Chandler (finally!) took a nap. When he woke up, we tried to take him on another ride… We decided on one of the toddler rides that just had little jeeps that went in a circle, then went decently slow except for on the corners when it would whip around really fast. My mom wanted to go with him so they got all buckled in and it started going. Chandler again was just a bit confused at first then started to freak out a bit once it started whipping them around the corners. Though I think the only reason he started to cry, was because we’re pretty sure he bit his thumb. So it was out of pain more so that being scared.

We of course had to get some Dippin Dots while we were there. Chandler loved them, almost as he loved the goldfish crackers!

he really was digging those fish!

We next hit up Rattlesnake Rapids, which unfortunately we didn’t get any pictures of. Kayla sat out with Chandler while the rest of us went on the ride. Also not pictured was the log flume, because we could all go on that one! Chandler didn’t cry at all on it and I think he may have even enjoyed it! Haha.

One of the last rides we went on was the Carousel. Chandler could go on it so I wanted to make sure we did it! The first go around didn’t go super well, but then he went on it again and loved it!

We had so much fun on our staycation, glad that most of our family on both sides live so close to us so we can do fun things like this!

Staycation! Part 1

My parents decided a few weeks ago that they wanted to have a staycation with the family. We discussed a few options, but in the end decided to go with Seven Peaks on Friday and Lagoon on Saturday. Since I took over 400 pictures within the 2 days, I decided to break up this post into 2 so that its not quite as picture heavy. Haha.

I’m not a huge fan of water parks, just because I hate water slides. The whole flying down a long tube with nothing to hold on to but a mat or a tube, just isn’t appealing to me. Having a toddler is a great excuse to not have to do any of that! 🙂 I was really excited for Chandler to go, because he absolutely loves the water! Baths are probably his favorite thing to do. So what better place for him than a huge park filled with giant “bathtubs”!

We got there around 10:00 AM, which is when the park opens (for pass of all pass holders, which my mom decided to get us since it was the same price as a day pass!). Staked out our spot on the grass, then hit the water!

IMG_9483

IMG_9489Had the hardest time getting Chandler to look for a picture, he just wanted to stare around at everyone.

We decided to take Chandler to the slightly bigger toddler pool where they had mini slides and stuff. There were more people there, so I wanted to put his life jacket floaties thing on him. We’ve only tried one other time to put them on and he was not a fan, I was hoping this time would be better, but not so much. He really hates them! We also took him down the slide a few times, I think he liked it! Sometimes it’s hard to tell with him! P.S. the water at the end of the toddler slides are a lot deeper then you think! Pretty sure I almost drowned haha.

IMG_9499
The best picture I got with him wearing the floaties. Right after this, he face planted into the water.

Next we hit the wave pool. I had brought Chandler’s little tube thing we had bought him last summer for Florida, which we never used. I thought he would like it since it didn’t restrain his arms at all, but once again, I was so wrong. I think he just likes to be free when it comes to the water!

IMG_9603Finally took a nap, 2 hours past his nap time!

For the most part Kayla, my mom, my dad and I spent our time in the lazy river and the toddler pool. The toddler pool was so warm, it was amazing! They had this the playground area in the toddler pool, and there was a little tunnel in it that Chandler loooved to crawl through. I wish I gotten more pictures of him crawling in it when there was less people, but I still did my best!

Preston left Seven Peaks early, because he had to work. We stayed for a few more hours after he left, then headed home. Kayla and Dusty took me and Chandler to our apartment, so we could shower really quickly and then we headed to my parents’ house. They ordered us pizza and then we watched a movie outside and most everyone (Preston, Chandler and myself not included) slept outside under the stars! We didn’t have anything to sleep on outside so we just slept inside with Chandler. I wish I had taken more pictures of everything after Seven Peaks, but I was so worn out, I fell asleep so fast!

Happy Birthday Harry Potter!

So if you haven’t already guessed by the name of this post, my friends and I are nerds. I mean don’t get me wrong, we’re very shout it from the rooftop, we don’t care who makes fun of us proud HP nerds, but we are nerds nonetheless. The fact is, I’m pretty lucky to have found such awesome people who when I say, let’s have a Harry Potter birthday party, they say heck yeah! Last year we had celebrated Harry’s birthday with a little mini party during our lunch hour at work.

This year Harry’s birthday was on a Sunday, so we decided to take it a few steps further and have a whole party dedicated to the celebration! We had a few weeks of lunch breaks devoted to planning out Harry’s (our) party! We were really going to go all out, even though it was just for us. Like I said, we’re nerds and we love it! We were planning on having our party Saturday the 30th, so on Friday night I went to my parents’ house to start setting up a bit. My youngest sister works at a party store so we were able to get her discount for some of the party items that we needed which was awesome!

Saturday morning I had a lot to do to get ready. I was making Harry’s birthday cake, Butterbeer and still had lots of setting up to do. I went over to my parents’ house pretty early because I wanted to make the cake there so that I wouldn’t have to carry it over. I started making that and setting up, by that time Brittany, Kayla and Kristin had arrived to help with the set up. We had basically everything else ready by the time our party started (4:00ish) and the rest of our party arrived (Becca and Baylee).  We had so much fun with our mini photobooth, playing games, eating, watching HP movies and doing a craft. I seriously have the BEST friends!

IMG_9304
How else do you get to Hogwarts other than Platform 9 3/4. Well I guess you could fly a car, but we were fresh out of flying cars!

Chandler AKA blonde Harry Potter, putting a spell on my dad (probably because he was one of those people to make fun of us ;))

Then we move on to more of the decorations. *Not pictured is the Dark Forest, which was covered with spiders and I failed to get any pictures.

IMG_9358
See the little Sorting Hats on top of the witch hat? Brittany made them and then filled them with colored M&Ms for each of the four Houses. We picked a hat at random and then that is what house we were in! It was so fun!

This picture was after Chandler fell and broken Hannah’s wand. Which we then deemed to be Ron’s wand.

The potions were my favorite! I loved all the bottles

And the food! We had so much fun with the food! There were a few classics like Butterbeer, chocolate frogs and acid drops. But we also a Basilisk calzone and “House” salad.

IMG_9306
Trevis was nice enough to handle the Butterbeer making. Mostly because I’ve never used dry ice and had no idea how to handle it. haha.

And then craft time!

IMG_9388

IMG_9393

We had a lot of fun, and I know I’ve already said this a million times, but I’m so lucky to have such great friends who embrace their inner nerd with me! And not to get too Harry Potter mushy on you but, Harry Potter definitely helped shaped me into who I am. He was my childhood and was always there whenever I needed to escape into a different world. I never knew what an impact a mere book could have on one’s life, but Harry showed me how powerful words and stories can be. As J.K. Rowling said (and as picture above) “the stories we love best live in us forever” Harry Potter will live in me forever and I will never forget what a truly magnificent fact that is.
